Twala Presents Digital Signature Solution to Over 300 PEZA Employees During Flag Raising Ceremony

Pasay City, June 16, 2025 — In support of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority’s (PEZA) commitment to digital transformation, Twala, a leading provider of secure and legally compliant digital signature solutions in the Philippines, was invited to present during the agency’s Flag Raising Ceremony held on June 16, 2025, at the PEZA Head Office in Pasay City.

The ceremony, attended by over 300 PEZA employees and officials, featured a live demonstration of Twala Sign, the company’s blockchain-powered digital signature platform. Twala was represented by Mr. Jiggy Calucag and Ms. Kyla Banatao, who provided an in-depth presentation of the platform’s features and benefits.

The demonstration showcased how Twala Sign enables organizations to sign and manage documents electronically, reducing reliance on physical paperwork while ensuring legal compliance under the E-Commerce Act of 2000 (RA 8792) and the Supreme Court’s Rules on Electronic Evidence.

Mr. Calucag emphasized how Twala helps organizations “work faster, more securely, and more sustainably,” while Ms. Banatao demonstrated how easy it is to sign and send documents in just a few clicks.

The presentation was well-received by attendees, many of whom expressed interest in adopting digital signatures within their respective departments. The event concluded with PEZA awarding certificates of appreciation to the Twala representatives in recognition of their contribution to the agency’s digitalization initiatives.

Twala continues to partner with both public and private sector organizations to deliver trusted digital signature solutions that drive efficiency, compliance, and innovation.
