Manila, Philippines — On August 6, 2025, the Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) and Twala, a leading provider of digital signature and electronic document workflow solutions, formally signed a partnership agreement during a contract signing ceremony held at LPU’s main campus in Intramuros, Manila.
The partnership was officially sealed by Atty. Roberto P. Laurel, President of LPU, and Mr. Jeffrey Reyes, Chief Executive Officer of Twala, in the presence of both institutions’ leadership teams.
This collaboration marks a significant milestone in LPU’s commitment to embracing digital innovation. Twala will provide LPU with secure, legally compliant digital signature technology to streamline administrative workflows, enhance document integrity, and support the university’s transition to a paperless and more sustainable operation.
“This partnership is aligned with LPU’s vision of becoming a digitally empowered institution,” said Atty. Roberto P. Laurel, President of LPU. “We are proud to work with Twala in modernizing our operations and ensuring that our academic community benefits from fast, secure, and sustainable services.”
“We are honored to support LPU in its digital transformation journey,” said Mr. Jeffrey Reyes, CEO of Twala. “This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to building a secure and efficient digital future for education.”
In its initial phase, the partnership will focus on digitizing internal approvals, student-related documents, and various administrative processes. Expansion across other academic and operational functions is expected in the succeeding months within the five LPU campuses in Manila, Laguna, Cavite, Davao and Batangas.
By adopting trusted digital tools, LPU strengthens its position as a forward-thinking institution, while Twala continues its mission to enable secure and legally recognized digital documentation across sectors.
